Back in October when I first met Gigi from It's a Sparkly Life, we decided on a few collaborations to do together that suited both our interests. I love fashion and lifestyle photography, so photographing Gigi's lovely holiday dress or asking a few questions regarding her blog was a no-brainer. In addition, we wanted to work together on something a bit different. When she proposed the idea of organizing a styled holiday brunch I was immediately on board.
Over the next few weeks there were endless emails and details to finalize. Gigi contacted several local companies to be part of our collaboration, which made the event even more remarkable, while I planned a detailed shot list to ensure no aspect was overlooked. Together we brainstormed a list of potential blogs to submit the photo's to, in hopes it would be featured.
We were so fortunate to have Best Friends for Frosting agree to feature our event, and just in time for the holidays. We owe a huge thank you to the vendors that were part of this event, without them it would never had been so magical.
Considering how much I love brunch, photography and collaborating with other creatives, this event was the perfect way to kick off my holiday season. Though I am looking forward to travelling home to London, Ontario in a few days to spend time with my loved ones. These past couple months have been a whirlwind, therefore some time to relax and unwind is much needed.
I hope everyone reading this sets aside time to enjoy good food and good company this holiday season, because isn't that what we love so much about this time of year? (I know I do!)
